Bridgepoint Health Foundation needed a Case for Support for its $60-million fundraising initiative. With complex chronic care needs growing in Canada, we helped potential donors “imagine” the patients Bridgepoint serves with an opening series of real and emotional patient stories. An equally compelling story of statistics, facts and testimonials supporting the necessity for better programs, services and new facilities followed.
“Imagine” articulated the vision and potential impact of this ambitious plan and helped Bridgepoint achieve its $60-million fundraising goal. The new facility is scheduled to open in 2013.

Bridgepoint Health is a hospital treating people living with complex chronic disease and disability. In this particular reporting year it had opened their doors to the community and stakeholders, hosting a series of open houses where one could learn more personally about the hospital, and its planned vision for the future. The report, themed “Open Doors Open Minds,” invited readers to learn how Bridgepoint was unlocking doors for patients, and how its innovative thinking was opening minds to a different way of providing healthcare.
The invitation to the Annual General Meeting was designed to look like a door hanger, complementing the report’s theme.
