Overview
The foundation for one of the top children’s hospitals in the world, SickKids, was seeking the support of public schools. Featuring its Kids believe in SickKids® program, one that encourages children to give back to their community and support SickKids, we created a Fundraising Planner, asking schools to consider utilizing one of their existing fundraisers – or to create a new one – to generate funds for the hospital. The planner featured a monthly school calendar so planning committees could see if there was an opportunity to fit SickKids into their fundraising agenda, and consider suggested ideas provided for each month.
Details
A large, fun illustration depicting a school engaged in a number of fundraising activities was created to trigger fundraising ideas, and to encourage participation. Copy explained the importance of the hospital’s donors and what the money would support. The compact piece was mailed out in a regular-sized envelope, but when unfolded could act as a colourful poster for the schools’ walls.
